Our Founder, Zack Ponder brings a wealth of experience in Special Education.

Zack founded UNspecial after years of teaching in Special Ed and realizing that the standardized and one size fits all educational model for this particular learning style just did not work in the classroom.

Adjusting our teaching approach is what makes the difference in the lives of someone special. It’s truly about treating them as normal rather than special - ergo UNspecial.

Eliot works on editing and marketing at UNspecial.

Filming and editing since 8 years old, Eliot has a passion for production. He is currently 14 years old and his goal is to be an aerospace engineer one day.

He hopes that his projects inspire many and help them navigate education and life more effectively.
